Taste the unique local products and culinary treasures of corfu

Honey, as a symbol of fertility, welfare, and well-being, is an essential part of Corfiot’s’ dietary habits. This is a great opportunity to become familiar with natural honey, produced in the green, natural environment of the mountain areas of Corfu.
The beekeeper of the apiary, which we will visit, will let us know about the natural source of honey, while we will learn about the various species of bees and some secrets about the complexity of their life. Also, we can savor the taste of different kinds of honey, classified by the place they do live and reproduce.

The “Golden Orange” — the tiny fruit that grows exclusively in Corfu — arrived on the island over a century ago from the Far East. Its story dates back about 150 years, when the English nobleman and nature enthusiast Charlie Merlin inspired the local community to cultivate this rare Japanese fruit.

We will visit a small kumquat workshop to discover its history, learn the best recipes, explore its nutritional benefits, and enjoy its unique flavour through various tastings, from liqueur to marmalade and more.

We will also discover the craft of Corfiot limoncello — Greece’s first take on the iconic “dolce vita” liqueur.
Inspired by its Italian origins and Corfu’s Venetian heritage, local artisans refined their own elegant version of this vibrant drink, creating a unique Mediterranean interpretation that continues to delight visitors today.

The village of Lakones is literally “hung” on the edge of the cliff. The view from above is breathtaking and is probably the most beautiful on the whole island. The green color of the olives and the pines “embraces” the endless blue of the sea and the rocky coastline and the spectacle is more than shocking.

Almost all visitors to the island of Corfu visit this place to gaze at the unique view and take the most valuable photo of their lives.

It’s time for us all to enjoy a nice Greek coffee break. On a balcony of a coffee house with stunning views will have the chance enjoy a cup of traditional Greek coffee. For Greeks, drinking coffee is like washing your face in the morning, it is some kind of a morning daily ritual because of the coffee’s strong taste and aroma.

In a serene Corfiot olive grove, we’ll visit a boutique olive press and learn about the island’s unique olive variety, its history, and the craft behind exceptional olive oil.
We’ll also explore traditional stone mills and old tools from past generations.
The experience concludes with a curated olive and olive-oil tasting, paired with local delicacies.

At the heart of Corfu’s countryside, we’ll visit a charming family-run winery surrounded by expansive vineyards. The owners will introduce us to local grape varieties, the island’s wine traditions, and the craft behind quality winemaking.
We’ll tour the winery, explore the cellar, and follow the journey from grape to bottle.
The visit concludes with a refined wine tasting, paired with light local bites to complement the flavours.

We have selected a charming traditional tavern in a picturesque Corfiot village, where you’ll enjoy authentic dishes prepared with local ingredients and pure Corfiot olive oil.

Here we will taste renowned local specialties, including nouboulo fumikado, the iconic Corfiot cold cut, and the island’s legendary pastitsada, enriched with the spicy blend spetseriko.

Your meal is complemented by local wines, handcrafted Corfiot beers and delightful homemade desserts — a true taste of Corfu’s culinary heritage.
