Travel with us to this legendary area where there is another surpriseโฆ due to the small size of the boat we will go inside the caves.

The village of Lakones is literally “hung” on the edge of the cliff. The view from above is breathtaking and is probably the most beautiful on the whole island. The green color of the olives and the pines “embraces” the endless blue of the sea and the rocky coastline and the spectacle is more than shocking.
Almost all visitors to the island of Corfu visit this place to gaze at the unique view and take the most valuable photo of their lives.

It’s time for us all to enjoy a nice Greek coffee break. On a balcony of a coffee house with stunning views will have the chance enjoy a cup of traditional Greek coffee. For Greeks, drinking coffee is like washing your face in the morning, it is some kind of a morning daily ritual because of the coffeeโs strong taste and aroma.
There could be no better idyllic place to grab a homemade local snack before continuing our journey!
Angelokastro is one of the most historic Byzantine castles within Greece. For a short period of time, due to the fortified structure of the castle, it was the capital of Corfu. Fighters of the embattled town defended against attacks by Venetians, Turks and pirates but the castle was never occupied. In the interior of the castle, warehouses and tanks of that period are still maintained, while there are still the churches of Archangels Michael and Gabriel on top of the castle and that of Saint Kyriaki, being set in a cave. From this castle you can enjoy unparalleled views to the island of Corfu.

We have chosen for you a picturesque traditional tavern in a small, picturesque village of Corfu. Dodge the tourist traps and enjoy the best of Corfuโs traditional culinary offerings at the following exceptional establishment.
Try traditional dishes as they offer a wide variety of authentic Corfiot food. All the dishes of this tavern and the whole process of the cooking is done with local products, with pure virgin olive oil. The taste, the food quality and the hospitality are those three reasons that will make your supper such a memorable experience. Last but not least you may try local wines or aperitif, homemade beers that complement the meal with original Corfiot desserts.

The palace of Mon Repos was built by an English Commissioner of the Ionian Islands, Frederick Adam, in 1831. It is said that it was a gift to his beloved wife, the Corfiot Nina Palantianou, while the architect of the edifice was also an English man, Whitmore. It has large openings, of colonial style with intense Greek and neoclassical elements.

Today this palace houses the Museum of Palaiopoli.
King George I gave this mansion and the estate the name with which it was established: Mon Repos which means ยซmy restยป. Mon Repos hosted the empress Elizabeth of Austria before she built the Achillion, while it is the place where, prince Philip was born who later married Elizabeth of England.
