Corfu Hiking Experience — The Beauty of the Nature

The hike begins among the characteristic landscapes of Corfu’s traditional olive groves. Surrounded by centuries-old trees, lush vegetation and traditional stone terraces, we discover one of the island’s most distinctive rural landscapes, where nature and agricultural heritage have coexisted for centuries.

Following old pathways and natural trails, we make our way through areas far removed from the usual tourist routes. The walk reveals changing landscapes, places of particular natural beauty and views of Corfu that are best appreciated on foot.

Along the way, we approach traditional villages where local architecture and everyday life have retained their distinctive character. Stone houses, old courtyards, small churches and peaceful neighbourhoods create an authentic setting, allowing us to discover a quieter and more timeless side of Corfu.

During the hike, we enjoy a pleasant break in a traditional village or at a suitable location along the route, with coffee or a refreshing local drink, such as homemade lemonade. Depending on availability, the stop may also include a small local treat. A lovely opportunity to unwind and enjoy the hospitality of the Corfiot countryside.

At selected points along the route, the landscape opens up before us, revealing green hillsides, olive groves, traditional villages and, depending on the location, beautiful views towards the Ionian Sea. These are perfect moments for photographs, a little rest and time to appreciate the scenery in peaceful natural surroundings.

Depending on the selected route, available time and weather conditions, the hiking experience may conclude at a beautiful coastal location. There, participants may have the opportunity to enjoy a short swimming stop and relax, bringing a pleasant finish to a day dedicated to nature and exploration.
