Our boat will rest in these idyllic waters, giving you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the crystal blue depths of this quintessential cove.
Amidst this enchanting setting, which served as a backdrop for the 1980 cinematic feature “The Blue Lagoon” starring Brooke Shields, you’ll find the perfect sanctuary to unwind. It’s a place where you can fully embrace the warmth of the sun and the life-giving breezes of the Ionian Sea, indulging in a serene repose that engages every sense.
This beach resembles a snail and due to its shape, it creates the following phenomenon: In the inner part, the waters are very warm because they are shallow and get trapped there, resulting in higher temperatures. In the outer part of it, the waters are cooler, due to the fact that they are in a channel (narrow) and there is a strong current, especially when the wind blows, bringing cooler water from the open sea.
