This beach resembles a snail and due to its shape, it creates the following phenomenon: In the inner part, the waters are very warm because they are shallow and get trapped there, resulting in higher temperatures. In the outer part of it, the waters are cooler, due to the fact that they are in a channel (narrow) and there is a strong current, especially when the wind blows, bringing cooler water from the open sea.
In the middle section, you can literally choose the temperature of the water where you will swim, as the closer you get to the inner part, the temperature of the water rises, and as you move away from it, the water temperature decreases.

As the trip progresses, we will continue our journey and sail through the small islands of Sivota, sometimes called the Ionian Fjords. Fierce sea battles between the Corfiots and Corinthians took place in these waters in 432B.C., prior to the start of the Peloponnesian War that lasted for 30 years. Relics of the sunken vessels are still found at the bottom of the sea today. Sivota is a typical marina village. The teal waters that surround the coast perfectly complement the pebble beaches and lush green landscape.
